Museum at Podmoskovnaya Station Depot
About museum
The museum-production complex in Podmoskovnaya, the oldest fan-shaped depot in the capital, is unparalleled in Russia. It houses unique machine tools from the 1930s, most of which are still in operation. According to the design by architect Julius Diederichs, many railway structures were built, including a water tower, a fan-shaped locomotive depot building, and a turntable, all executed in the Art Nouveau style. This unique complex is of historical value and constitutes an indispensable asset to Russia.
