In Pavilion No. 42 at VDNKh, Russia's first interactive 'Horse Museum' and the Equestrian Theater of the Kremlin School of Riding opened. Here you can discover an exhibition dedicated to the history of horses and horse breeding, and also see costumed equestrian shows. The exhibition is divided into eight halls, where interactive panels allow visitors to trace the evolution of horses and learn about different breeds. Photographs of racehorses are displayed on touch-glass screens. At the Center of National Equestrian Traditions at VDNKh you can enter a real stable workshop and learn about professions related to horses. You can also find reproductions of paintings and sculptures featuring horses. At the Equestrian Theater of the Kremlin School of Riding you can see musical costumed equestrian shows in which a pair of horses performs synchronized pirouettes on their hind legs.
