The Museum of Nature has been fulfilling its mission for more than 90 years. It was founded in the 1920s, and its name and status have changed several times since then. The museum's main goal is to collect, study, and popularize natural science knowledge about the history of flora and fauna. Today the museum features impressive collections: entomological, paleontological, geological, mineral and rock collections, and herbaria, which are of great scientific value. The museum's researchers conduct expeditions, thanks to which the museum's holdings are constantly replenished with valuable materials. The museum also hosts scientific-practical conferences and entertainment programs designed for visitors of all ages.
