A.A. Blok's Apartment Museum
About museum
In 1980, the first museum dedicated to Alexander Blok — the famous poet of the Silver Age of Russian culture — was opened in Kolomna. It is located in the house where Blok lived for the last nine years of his life. The museum presents a literary exhibition devoted to the poet's creative path. Walking and bus tours, literary and musical evenings, lectures, and exhibitions are held here. For children from age 5, interactive sessions are provided to help them get acquainted with the world of poetry and develop their own creative potential. Visitors to the museum are offered group or individual overview tours that recreate the atmosphere of that time.
