E.F. Savinova Memorial Museum
About museum
Located in the center of Yeltsovka is the E.F. Savinova Museum, a branch of the State Museum of the History of Literature, Art and Culture of Altai. The house where it is situated once belonged to settlers from the Penza Governorate — the Burlakov family. A historically accurate interior of a peasant house from the 1930s–1940s has been restored there, using original items that belonged to the Savinov family. The actress E.F. Savinova herself was a friend of Evdokia Burlakova; it was from this friendship that the idea arose to give the main heroine of the film "Come Tomorrow" the surname Burlakova. The museum's second room displays materials about the actress's creative career, screen tests, film stills, documents and information about Savinova's best-known film — the comedy "Come Tomorrow." Thus, visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the actress's childhood and youth.
