Feodosia A. S. Grin Literary and Memorial Museum was built in 1891 and the writer-romantic Alexander Stepanovich Grin himself lived here from 1924 to 1929. In 1970 the Alexander Grin Museum was opened, dedicated to his literary legacy. It became one of the most visited literary museums in the country. The exhibition features museum artifacts, models of sailing ships, nautical instruments, maps, sisal rope weavings, a ship's bell and other items. On the building's façade is depicted Grin's "Brigantine", reflecting the bright and kind world of A. S. Grin, attracting many visitors from different parts of the world. This unique monument of national and world culture has a significant influence on Russia's literary heritage.
