Memorial House-Museum of Academician I. M. Vinogradov
About museum
On September 14, 1986, the Memorial House-Museum of Academician I. M. Vinogradov was opened. It is located in the restored family home of the scientist and, by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR "On Perpetuating the Memory of Academician I. M. Vinogradov", was designated as an object of historical and cultural heritage of federal significance. The house-museum contains about six thousand unique memorial museum items; most of them were transferred to the museum of the Steklov Institute of Mathematics of the USSR Academy of Sciences, which I. M. Vinogradov headed for almost half a century. The house-museum allows us to see the past and feel the atmosphere in which the famous scientist lived and worked.
