Altai State Memorial Museum of G. S. Titov is a place where you can learn about the life and activities of the world's second cosmonaut, Gherman Titov, and the history of domestic space exploration as a whole. The museum building occupies 700 square meters and houses more than 9,000 unique items. Here you can see collections of G. S. Titov's personal belongings, photographs, newspapers with astronauts' autographs, models of spacecraft and satellites, items of numismatics and phaleristics, cosmonauts' food supplies, as well as the L-29 training aircraft and the Soyuz descent module (Titov's version). The exhibitions allow visitors to feel the full power and glory of national space exploration, trace the history of space flights and see humanity's dream of flying into the sky. The Altai State Memorial Museum of G. S. Titov is a modern cultural institution intended to reflect the gratitude of the Russian people for Gherman Titov's courage and feat.
