Altai State Memorial Museum of G. S. Titov is a place where visitors can learn about the life and activities of the world's second cosmonaut, Gherman Titov, and the history of Russian space exploration in general. The museum building occupies 700 square meters and preserves more than 9,000 unique items. Here you can see collections of G. S. Titov's personal belongings, photographs, newspapers with cosmonauts' autographs, models of spacecraft and satellites, numismatic and phaleristic items, cosmonauts' food rations, as well as an L-29 training aircraft and the Soyuz V descent module (Titov's version). The exhibitions allow visitors to feel the power and glory of the Russian space program, trace the history of space flights, and witness humanity's dream of flying into the sky. The Altai State Memorial Museum of G. S. Titov is a modern cultural institution intended to reflect the gratitude of the Russian people for the courage and feat of Gherman Titov.
