On June 5, a solo exhibition by Moscow artist Lyudmila Charskaya titled 'Faithfulness to the Calling' will open at a branch of the Borodino Museum, the S. V. Gerasimov House Museum.\r\n\r\nThe exhibition is retrospective in nature and covers more than 30 years of the artist's creative career. It reveals a profound concept devoted to the connection between the traditions of the Moscow school of painting and Lyudmila Charskaya's individual artistic search, personal style, and experiments.\r\n\r\nAn important aspect of the exhibition is historical continuity. Early in her career Charskaya studied at the Moscow Academic Art School named after 1905, where considerable attention was paid to the artistic legacy of Sergey Vasilyevich Gerasimov. This shaped the fundamental principles of her artistic approach — attention to nature, contemplativeness, and a subtle conveyance of mood and the spiritual essence of nature, reflected in her canvases.\r\n\r\nThe exhibition features works from different periods: from early studies to the latest pieces executed in the artist's own 'corpusculart' technique — a unique artistic direction developed by Charskaya herself.\r\n\r\n'Faithfulness to the Calling' is not only an aesthetic event but also a cultural and educational initiative aimed at demonstrating the strength of continuity, the importance of the artist's personal path, and contemporary art's openness to dialogue with the classics.\r\n\r\nThe exhibition runs until June 29, 2025.\r\nMoscow Region, Mozhaysk, Gerasimova St., 5
