Tver City Museum and Exhibition Center
About museum
The Tver City Museum and Exhibition Center was established in 2007 and held its first exhibition that June. In 2009 the Center received the status of a municipal cultural institution and began operating in three halls, where month-long exhibitions are held at both the city and international levels. The Center's main areas of activity are exhibition/display, educational outreach, and cultural and community events. As part of the exhibitions there are presentations, master classes, creative meetings with artists, fashion shows of designer clothing, guided tours, concerts and other events. The Center also hosts children's art studios and a life-drawing class. Exhibitions held at the Center give children a unique opportunity to encounter original works and their authors. Master classes and art events attract not only children but also adults. Today the Tver Museum and Exhibition Center is one of the city's leading venues for exploring contemporary art across various artistic directions developing at the crossroads of two centuries.
