CK19 Cultural Center presents an exhibition by well-known Novosibirsk graphic artists Sergey Grebennikov and Andrey Chernov, 'Graphic Intent of the City'.
Sergey is an abstractionist who uses geometric forms and colors to convey his emotions and ideas. His works are full of symbolism and metaphor, reflecting his deep understanding of abstract art. The artist experiments with various materials and techniques to create unique pieces that invite the viewer into a dialogue.
Andrey is a neuro-artist who uses the latest technologies and artificial intelligence to create his works. His pieces, produced with neural networks, astonish with their uniqueness and unpredictability. The artist explores new horizons in art and strives for innovation.
'Sergey Grebennikov and Andrey Chernov are respected Novosibirsk artists who have been developing their unique styles for decades. The authors keep pace with the times, constantly devising fresh approaches to favoured themes. ... At the exhibition, Sergey's graphic cities will come to life in Andrey's generative video pieces, presenting a unique synthesis of traditional abstraction and the latest media,' says CK19 curator Anastasia.
Graphic art stimulates the thinking of artists and viewers, raising questions about the interaction between technology and art, about the role of the artist and the viewer in the creation and interpretation of works, and about the boundaries of traditional art forms.
The blending of diverse disciplines and genres, the combination of the traditional and the new, and the search for new formats can lead to the emergence of new directions in graphic art. We invite you to enjoy the beauty of abstraction and discover new facets of Siberian contemporary art.
The exhibition runs until April 7, 2024.
