The new exhibition project is dedicated to fellow countrymen — heroes of war and labor from several generations.
By decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, 2025 was declared the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland in Russia. The new exhibition project "Men's Character" (0+) at the Kirov Diorama tells the story of our fellow countrymen — heroes of war and labor, outstanding scientists, athletes and cultural figures who have dedicated their lives to serving the Fatherland.
The opening was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Kirov Region, Daniil Dvortsov. He noted that the exhibition clearly demonstrates the continuity between generations of our fellow countrymen, for whom "men's character" is not just words but a way of life.
"For contemporary defenders of the Fatherland, the heroes of the Great Patriotic War serve as examples of courage and heroism. Today those who listened to veterans' stories in childhood are bravely defending the borders of our Motherland during the special military operation. Exhibitions like this, which reveal great pages of history and the chronicle of military and labor glory, should definitely be visited by our schoolchildren and students," said Daniil Lvovich.
The name of our fellow countryman Vladislav Golovin is known across the country — a participant in the special military operation with the call sign "Struna", who on the battlefield replaced wounded commanders and was awarded the title Hero of Russia. The exhibition features his photos, certificates, sports medals and personal items. The hero's mother, Irina Vladimirovna, was the guest of honor at the opening.
"I believe that any visitor to the exhibition will feel pride for their fellow countrymen, a sense of gratitude and admiration for the people who surrounded and surround us. It is especially important for the youngest — to remember and know how our ancestors defeated fascism, and how now our contemporaries fight the Nazis. Only then will such things never be able to happen again," emphasized Irina Golovina.
Participants of the special military operation also took part in the opening — those who, by their example, teach how to overcome hardships and to give their strength and even their lives for the good of the Fatherland.
