As part of Cultural Saturday, the A. N. Radishchev Museum was visited by fifth-grade students from School No. 8 in Kuznetsk. The children took part in the theatrical program "Fyokla Stepanovna's Parlor" and the interactive program "In the Reflective Shine of the Samovar".
During the program, in the exhibition halls the students learned about the childhood of the future writer and discovered other interesting facts from A. N. Radishchev's biography. The children were able to try on 18th-century costumes, uncover the secrets of the fan language, solve charades and play traditional games.
In the dining room of the Radishchevs' manor house the children learned about the history of the samovar and about the traditions of Russian tea drinking. They took part in solving riddles, recalled proverbs, answered quiz questions, and became acquainted with the old game "Puzelya".
