The Soil and Agronomy Museum is preparing to open an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Museum staff, employees of the Department of Soil Science, Geology and Landscape Studies, as well as representatives of the A.R. Vargas de Bedemar Forest Museum, the V.P. Goryachkin Museum of Agricultural Mechanics, and the I.B. Auerbach Geological and Mineralogical Museum took part in creating the exhibition.
The display cases feature not only documents and photographs but also wartime artifacts and extracts from personal files provided by the academy archive. After all, members of the Timiryazev Academy not only fought on the front lines but also worked on the home front, helping to bring about the victory over Hitler's Germany. This exhibition tells the story of their military and labor feats. The exhibition includes a slideshow and musical accompaniment.
