About museum
In the village of Nadezhdino stands a manor house built in 2002 based on the design of the Aksakov family’s house from the first half of the 19th century. It is the Aksakov Family Museum, which preserves and promotes the family's rich heritage. The museum halls have been restored in accordance with the Aksakov family's memorial environment. On display are the personal belongings of Sergey Timofeevich and Olga Semyonovna, the writer’s children, as well as Grigory Sergeyevich Aksakov, a public and political figure. The museum hosts international celebrations, republican poetry festivals, the 'Raspberry Chime of Bells' festival, and events dedicated to the Days of Slavic Written Language and Culture. The 'Aksakov Path' club also operates here.
