For International Music Day, the Music Museum presents a program of events and special promotions for visitors!
Promotion "Happy Hour"
From October 1 to 5, purchase an admission ticket (including access to the permanent exhibition "Musical Instruments of the Peoples of the World") to the museum and get the opportunity between 16:00 and 17:00 to play the world's first electronic musical instrument — the theremin.
A guide from the Music Museum will explain and demonstrate how to master this challenging instrument, and then you will try to play a melody on this remarkable invention by the Russian physicist Lev Termen.
Promotion "Silver Volunteers"
Discover the world of music with volunteers from the "Silver University"! Don't miss the chance to learn more about musicians and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of musical art. Tours will be led by volunteers from the Music Museum Volunteer Center. The promotion will take place on October 1 and 5. Free admission with advance registration.
As part of the promotion, you can attend the tour "Master of the Black-and-White Keys" at the A. B. Goldenweiser museum-apartment and the tour "Composer. Conductor. Collector." at the N. S. Golovanov museum-apartment.
