Aviation, tanks, motorcycles, APCs, machine guns and large-scale pyrotechnic effects will transport you back to that October 1941, when Red Army soldiers stood up to defend our homeland, desperately holding back the elite units of the Wehrmacht racing toward the capital.
At interactive sites, reenactors will show and explain how various types of weapons from the Great Patriotic War were built and used. You will learn about the combat tasks performed by different branches of the armed forces, about telephone and radio communications, as well as about the challenges of air defense and the work of medics in field conditions.
In memory of the fallen and of the living participants and witnesses of those grim wartime years, we must, at all costs, preserve the peace they defended and teach our children to cherish it.
