If you love history, the atmosphere of an old town, and pleasant aromas and flavors, you should definitely visit the new Russian Sweets Museum in Kostroma on Chaikovsky Street. Here you'll find items of peasant and merchant everyday life, collections of Kostroma and Tula samovars, antique confectionery equipment and exhibits. Our rosy-cheeked sweet hostesses will guide you through the museum and, if you wish, offer tastings of Kostroma sweets; to the sound of the samovar you can enjoy herbal tea with a mint gingerbread. On weekends we hold master classes in gingerbread decorating.
