From April 2 to April 28, 2024, the Photo Exhibition of Mosfilm studio veterans Anatoly and Lidiya Grishiny will be held at the Vladimir Vysotsky State Museum.
The Grishiny family will speak about the specifics of the cinematographic profession and working on films in the pre-digital era, about amusing incidents and historical events. Lidiya Grishina will talk about how she worked on the film 'Burnt by the Sun' (1994), directed by N. Mikhalkov, and about her experience working on films co-produced with American companies — 'Police Academy 7' (1994), 'De Sade' (1996), 'Icon' (2005). We will learn about Anatoly Grishin's work on films such as 'Lenin in Paris' (1981), directed by S. Yutkevich, 'To Kill a Dragon' (1988), directed by M. Zakharov, and many others.
The veterans will talk about how the looks were developed, how these images were conceived and how they were realized.
They will discuss the specifics of directors' and actors' work, the formation of films' ideological orientation, and which photographic works are presented at the exhibition.
