In Moscow, after restoration, the Multimedia Art Museum (MAMM) has reopened.
This was the reason I visited the capital in April.
The main exhibition is currently dedicated to the ninetieth anniversary of a living legend of conceptual painting, Erik Bulatov. It's called "I Live On. The Artist's Laboratory."

Visitors' interest is encouraging
There are few large painted canvases, but each is accompanied by a whole series of preparatory drawings, which illustrate the artist's work, sometimes spanning many years. Each drawing is not a sketch but a separate work done in pencil on a small scale. In this way the artist's laboratory is presented: we see his searches, his path, and the outcome.
Even on weekdays during the day this modern space has quite a few visitors, and the majority of them are young people actively discussing what they see. That is perhaps no less inspiring than the exhibition itself.

If you are in Moscow, don't miss it.
And I am planning to also see the mural inspired by Erik Bulatov's works on the grounds of the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant. With the tourist community "Neoclassica" we'll visit that plant on a guided tour in July. But that's already the next interesting story.
