In a building dated to 1905 and designated as a protected monument, the museum's exhibition halls are located on the ground floor. Exhibitions and events based on collections of memorial items, fine art, numismatics, everyday life and archaeology are held here. In addition, the museum holds collections of printed publications, illustrations, manuscripts and photographs that reflect the history of the non-official part of Petersburg from the second half of the 19th to the 21st century and tell about the life and everyday life of the 'raznochintsy'. Tickets for events can be purchased at the ticket office of the main museum building or online.
