The permanent exhibition "Post in Aksai (late 18th - early 20th centuries)" presents visitors with the history of the postal service in the Aksai stanitsa. It features items of travel life, postcards, documents, maps, plans and drawings that help explain the history of post stations, routes and the postal service. You can also see information about famous people who passed through the Aksai stanitsa: A. S. Pushkin, M. V. Lermontov, M. I. Glinka, and the Russian emperors Alexander I, Nicholas I and Alexander II. In the 'Post Station' courtyard there is horse-drawn transport from the 19th to the early 20th century. The "Cossack House" exhibition acquaints visitors with traditions in home furnishings, household management, everyday items, occupations and upbringing in the families of the Don Cossacks. Here you can see furniture, utensils, objects of decorative and applied arts, tableware from the late 19th to the early 20th century, and photographs of Don Cossacks. The tour introduces the customs and traditions of the inhabitants of the Aksai stanitsa in the 19th–20th centuries.
