About museum

The Nature Department of the Irkutsk Regional Museum of Local Lore is located in an architectural monument building. It presents the rich history of Eastern Siberia — from ancient times to the present day. The museum offers a wide range of activities: interactive tours, dramatized lessons, themed celebrations, environmental campaigns, workshops, quests, exhibitions and competitions. The permanent exhibition showcases the nature of the Pre-Baikal region. In addition, there are exhibitions from the museum's collections as well as displays of animals and plants: service dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, insects, and flowers. There is something interesting here for everyone!
