Svetlograd Historical and Regional Museum named after I.M. Solodilov
About museum
On December 1, 1978, the Svetlograd Historical and Regional Museum named after I. M. Solodilov was established as a public museum of revolutionary, military and labor glory. Since 1989 it has been a branch of the Stavropol State United Regional Museum named after G. K. Prave. In 1998 it became a structural subdivision of the Department of Culture, and in 2003 — a state cultural institution. Since 2011 the museum has been a state budgetary cultural institution of Stavropol Krai. The museum's collection comprises more than 16,000 exhibits, including collections of painting, graphics, numismatics, ethnography, photography, weapons, equipment and documentary holdings.
