The museum presents all the main stages of the preparation for and execution of the first spaceflight. The United Memorial Museum-Reserve of Y. A. Gagarin is not only a place of remembrance and reverence for Russia's first cosmonaut, but also a place to study the historical past of the Gzhatsk region. Here you can see the House-Museum of Y. A. Gagarin's school years, the House-Museum of Y. A. Gagarin's parents, the House of Cosmonauts, the 'Yuri Gagarin Games' museum, the Gagarin Family House-Museum and the First Flight Museum. All these sites preserve the memory of an outstanding person, Russia's first cosmonaut Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin. Visit the museum-reserve and learn about its history and culture!
