The Museum of Horse Breeding of RSAU‑MTAA named after K.A. Timiryazev is a scientific and art museum dedicated to the development of horse breeding and stud farming in Russia.
The core of the museum's art collection is the collection of horse breeder and owner of the Prilepsky Stud Farm, Yakov Ivanovich Butovich (1881–1937).
At present, the museum holds the world's largest art collection in the equestrian genre, including easel painting, graphic art and sculpture, and the number of artists whose works are in the museum exceeds 200.
