Museum souvenir salon
About museum
In 2014 a souvenir salon was opened as part of the Chistopol State Museum-Reserve. It offers the opportunity to purchase crafts and trades that were produced in the Chistopol district long ago, as well as contemporary forms of decorative and applied arts. For sale are items made of wicker, birch bark, wood, linen, polymer and natural clay, cotton, traditional Tatar headwear, printed publications, souvenirs with the symbols of Chistopol, and handmade toys created using various techniques. The salon also hosts workshops (master classes) for making souvenirs, themed crafts, jewelry, and household items.
