In Tomsk, since 2007 there has been the first museum of Slavic mythology. It is located on Voskresenskaya Hill in a three-story building. It is the only museum in the world dedicated to Slavic mythology. It features a souvenir shop, a hall for temporary exhibitions, an art gallery and the "Mythological Workshop", as well as a conference hall. The museum hosts tours, master classes, themed events, celebrations and meetings. During the master classes visitors learn about the mythological roots of types of painting and sculpture, and can also try making something themselves, which gives the created item a magical meaning.
