Museum of the History of the Adler District
About museum
On September 1, 1989, a museum titled 'Adler District from Ancient Times to the Present Day' was opened in Adler, created on the basis of collections of war and labor veterans from the 1950s–1980s. Currently it houses over 19,000 items, including a collection of paintings by Honored Artist Bronislav Georgievich Stashevsky and by local historian and writer I. K. Nedoli. The museum's main tasks are studying the history of the Adler District, educational and outreach work, and patriotic education of youth. The museum presents permanent and temporary exhibitions displaying photographic materials, manuscripts, objects and archaeological artifacts related to the history of Adler.
