Bolsheboldinskaya Art Gallery

In November 2007, the Bolsheboldinskaya Art Gallery was opened in the Scientific and Cultural Center. It was equipped with everything necessary to host traveling exhibitions, hold various events and creative meetings. The gallery currently houses more than 600 paintings and graphic works, allowing it to stage over 15 thematic exhibitions. The gallery's collection is replenished through donations from guests, patrons, and participants of the Boldino plein-air events. The collection includes works by academician V. Lukyanov of the Moscow Academy of Painting (Moscow), honored artists of the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of Mari El, Russia, the Chuvash Republic and the RSFSR, as well as People's Artist of the RSFSR R. Fedorov. Each year the gallery is visited by about 4,200 people; 100 events and 150 guided tours are held.
