On November 29, 1940, the Literary House‑Museum of K. V. Ivanov was opened in the village of Slakbash in honor of the poet's 50th anniversary. The founder of the museum was Pyotr Nikolaevich Kudryashov. The exhibition presents the poet's personal belongings made by his own hands: a wardrobe, a sofa, decorative patterns on the ceiling and doors, paintings, documents, photographs and ethnographic material. In 1991 a monument to the poet by sculptor Nagornov was installed. At the end of May each year Poetry Days are held in the village, attracting admirers of K. Ivanov's work.
