About museum

In 2006, the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and Local History was founded in Sarmanovo; it was opened to visitors in 2010. The museum features four halls: the Hall of Military Glory, the Hall of Labor Glory, the Local History Hall, and an information-exhibition hall. The museum's exhibits provide an insight into the history, culture, and traditions of the people of Sarmanovo. The venue hosts exhibitions and events dedicated to the works and lives of notable individuals, war veterans, and home-front workers, as well as public events and workshops on clay modeling and making paper crafts.
