About museum

"The PRO Waste Museum", opened on July 16, 2021, is a socially oriented project of the environmental consultancy "Synergy +". The institution's mission is to foster a culture of conscious and efficient consumption among future generations, as well as to demonstrate safe and environmentally friendly methods of recycling and reusing waste.

The museum is the first of its kind in Russia and the largest interactive educational complex in the West dedicated to environmental issues. On an area of 1,000 m² there are more than 5,000 continually updated exhibits, working examples of modern waste-processing equipment, and unique art objects by artists from Saint Petersburg. Regular workshops and lectures on environmental topics are held.
