Sergei Kuryokhin Center for Contemporary Art

In the autumn of 2004 the Sergei Kuryokhin Center for Contemporary Art was established in Saint Petersburg. It is named after the well-known 20th-century musician and composer. The Center organizes international festivals, concerts, exhibitions, lectures, film screenings, supports innovative programs and projects in the field of contemporary art, and also expands international links and cooperation. In 2016 reconstruction of the center began, but it has not ceased its activities. In April 2016 a temporary space was opened on Ligovsky Prospect, where exhibitions, theater premieres, lectures, master classes and meetings with artists are held. The Sergei Kuryokhin Center continues to support innovative projects in the arts.
