V.D. Fedorov Museum
About museum
In April 1984 the Literary and Memorial Museum of V. D. Fedorov was created after the poet's death. On December 7 of the same year the museum began its work at Maryevskaya School, and on September 9, 1986 it was granted the status of a 'School Museum'. In August 1988 premises on the second floor of the Maryev House of Culture were allocated for the museum. The main part of the exhibits was provided by Larisa Fedorovna — a total of 250 items. At present the museum has more than 2,000 items in the main collection and 100 units in the scientific and auxiliary collection. The museum also offers consultations for students, pupils, librarians, teachers and other groups of the population on the study of the life and work of V. D. Fedorov, as well as on the history of Kuzbass. In 2021 a new exhibition 'Kuzbass. Talent. Epoch' was opened and new exhibition equipment was acquired.
