The Mars Center for Contemporary Art is a leading cultural and exhibition venue in the country, focused on presenting a variety of projects that use new technologies. It hosts educational programs for all ages, festivals in the fields of digital art, new media and electronic music, as well as performances and other events of international scale. The Mars Center for Contemporary Art was founded in 1988 as an independent gallery of contemporary art. Since 2017 the director of the Center has been Igor Gryaznov. The venue offers an interactive environment that allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in what they see and that affects all the senses directly. Thus, the Mars Center for Contemporary Art has become an integral part of Russian cultural life.
