Prioksky District Museum
About museum
The Prioksky District Museum was established in 1985 to mark the 50th anniversary of the district's formation. Industrial enterprises, the veterans' council, schools, and local residents who donated exhibits took part in its creation. The museum opened on November 4, 1987. The exhibits introduce visitors to the various stages of development of the district and the city, in both wartime and peacetime. The museum has a hall dedicated to the major enterprises of the Prioksky District, where you can see radios, televisions, telephone exchanges, and more. In 2017 the museum joined the Prioksky District library system. Temporary exhibitions, musical and literary concerts, and creative evenings are held here. There is always something interesting and new at the museum. Everyone will find something to their liking here.
