L. I. Kuzmin Museum, Perm
About museum
The Lev Kuzmin Literary Museum is the pride of the Perm Regional Children's Library, which bears the name of the well-known writer. All residents of Perm know his works such as "Captain Koko and the Green Glass Bead", "Golden Islands", "In One Beautiful Kingdom" and others. The museum is located in the center of Perm in an old 19th-century building whose history is connected with notable figures of the Kama region. It was opened to visitors in December 2001 and continues to attract many young readers to this day. The museum houses a collection of more than 1,000 exhibits: documents, photographs, the writer's personal belongings, and books with autographs from his private library. The main exhibit is the writer's desk with a typewriter, a desk lamp, and a tea glass in a metal holder (podstakannik). Guided tours, creative meetings, and literary classes for children and their parents are held here.
