Suevat Paul Museum
About museum
The museum, located on the bank of the Ess River, is a reconstructed complex of a Mansi settlement. The exhibition features residential and utility buildings: a summer kitchen, a bread oven, canopies, structures for drying nets, dog kennels, household labazes (raised storage platforms), a sacred sumyakh, a reindeer corral, as well as winter sleeping quarters and hunting traps. National holidays and ritual ceremonies are regularly held on the museum grounds: "Slavic circle dance", "Crow Day", worship of Vitu Khon, Sabantuy, Kaz Omesse, Fisherman's Day, and a "Guitar Circle".
