Space Glory Museum of School No. 55g, Omsk
About museum
On April 12, 1973, the Space Museum was opened in Omsk. Vladimir and Lidiya Kichigin were the first to begin collecting exhibits for the museum in the 1960s, inspired by the achievements of the national space program. To this end they visited many places associated with space achievements, met scientists, cosmonauts, aviation veterans, employees of aerospace enterprises and others. As a result, a fine museum was created that presents the history and achievements of the national space program. Here you can see tools, manuals, clothing and other items, as well as watch documentary films shot during cosmonaut flights. Today the Omsk Space Museum is one of the most significant museums.
