\r\nOn November 23, 2019, a museum was opened in Narovchat dedicated to the life and work of the Russian composer A. A. Arkhangelsky, who was born on October 11, 1846 in the village of Staroye Tezikovo. The museum includes 19th-century furniture, a piano, photographs, documents and books, as well as musical scores. Various events are held here, including the game 'Road to the Church', the sacred music festival 'With My Voice I Cried Unto the Lord' and guided tours for pilgrims of the Trinity-Skanov Convent with participation by the convent choir. This museum has become a monument to A. A. Arkhangelsky's work; he made a significant contribution to church singing literature, and even the smallest church choirs know his compositions.
