The bear is the symbol of Yaroslavl, and for nine years this city has been home to the Museum 'My Favorite Teddy Bear'. In 2016 the museum moved to a new building and its exhibition was expanded. Here you can see a collection of 700 bears made of various materials and in various forms: plush, wooden, porcelain, metal, painted and embroidered, fairy-tale and realistic. You can learn many interesting things about the city, about the legends of Yaroslavl's founding, about the first toy bears, about the origin of the name Winnie-the-Pooh and much more. An entrance ticket costs 200 rubles, a reduced ticket 150 rubles, and guided-tour service for groups of up to 20 people costs 500 rubles. The museum has a small souvenir shop and a tea room, and also hosts workshops and birthday parties.
