Crimean War History Museum

The Crimean War History Museum is located in the city center on Revolyutsii Street in an early 20th-century building and is a branch of the local history museum's military history department. It opened on October 20, 2012. The exhibition provides a detailed account of the events of the Crimean War (1853–1856) and features more than 300 items from the collections of the Yevpatoria Local History Museum, including edged weapons and firearms, Imperial Russian awards, soldiers' personal belongings, paintings, parts of ship rigging, anchors, photographs, lithographs, and reproductions of paintings. The museum is equipped with multimedia hardware and audiovisual effects. Audio guide services are also offered in several languages, allowing visitors to gain a fuller understanding of the history of the Crimean War.
