On October 2, 2014 at 16:00, as part of the Torum Maa museum, the Yuvan Shestalov Memorial Study-Museum was opened, becoming a unique representative of the city's attractions. It serves as a venue for visits, active life and self-education, as well as a program site for educational institutions dedicated to the work and life of writers from Yugra. The Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education Yugra State University cooperates with schools, universities and cultural centers to foster a sense of patriotism, love for one's native land and civic engagement. The room preserves the original furnishings, documents, photographs, personal belongings and awards of Yuvan Shestalov, which testify to his status as the first professional Mansi writer and poet and turn his last workplace into a memorial site.
