The memorial studio of the artist G.V. Dyshlenko, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia (now deceased), has been a structural subdivision of the Oryol City Cultural Center since September 2, 2008. Here, for 23 years, the master created his best works.
The artist's creative legacy includes hundreds of battle and genre paintings, landscapes, portraits and still lifes painted in the finest traditions of Russian realist art. The studio, as an element of the city's cultural life, seeks to cultivate a sense of patriotism and moral values, a respectful attitude toward the history of one's native land, and fulfills the traditional mission of public education.
