Historical and Local Lore Museum of the village of Polnovat

About museum

On the bank of the Ob River stands a wooden log building in which the museum was opened. It presents the history of the old village from its beginnings and the history of the Orthodox church, which burned several times, was rebuilt and restored. It also tells about the forced settlers who were sent to Polnovat for permanent residence. The museum has three halls: the first is devoted to the pre-revolutionary period, the second to the modern history of Polnovat, and the third to the historical and local-lore exhibition.
