About museum
On October 1, 1999, the head of the administration Agafonova O. V. signed decree No. 175 establishing the municipal institution 'Museum of the History of the settlement Sibirsky, Altai Krai' and appointing Sinyavsky Alexey Ivanovich as its director. The building, located in the primary school, with an area of 70 sq. meters consisted of an exhibition hall and an ancillary room. From January 10, 2001, the museum's director became Nechunaeva Tatyana Nikolaevna. In September of the same year an exhibition hall and a memorial plaque to Vladimir Kolosvetov were opened. The total area of the museum reached 130 sq. meters. In 2004, by decree of the head of administration Drachev S. M., No. 55, the municipal institution was renamed to ZATO Sibirsky, Altai Krai 'Museum of the History of ZATO Sibirsky'. In 2007 a new exhibition hall was opened in the building of the DK 'Kristall', the area of the premises rented by the museum amounted to 98.3 sq. m. In 2008 the Museum of the History of ZATO Sibirsky was entered into the Register of Museums of the Russian Federation, and in 2011 by decree of the Administration of ZATO Sibirsky No. 27 dated 25.01.2011 the muni
