\r\nThe house at 5 Krasnoarmeyskaya Street houses the museum of Nikolai Zotovich Biryukov - a laureate of the USSR State Prize, author of novels such as "Seagull", "Waters of Naryn" and other works. The writer's fate was tragic: he fell ill in his youth and was confined to his bed. But even despite his condition, he managed to continue actively traveling around the country and meeting people. The museum preserves memorial rooms and a literary exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the writer. His works have been translated into 40 languages worldwide. This literary and memorial house-museum is the only one of its kind in Russia.
