Mikhaylovka Village Local History Museum
About museum
In September 2000, in the center of Mikhaylovsky District, with the support of the head of the municipal administration Chebotkov A. I., and at the initiative of the Mikhaylovsky District Council of Veterans, the chairman of the District 'Perekhod' Fund M. S., and E. I. Zelenskaya, head of the district culture department, a local history museum with an area of 158.5 sq. m. was opened. It features 5 halls where visitors can see exhibitions dedicated to the Great Patriotic War (World War II), the history of Mikhaylovsky District, and representatives of the flora and fauna of Primorsky Krai. The museum regularly hosts guided tours, themed events, and exhibitions. In September, an open-house evening dedicated to the district's birthday is held for guests and residents, where they can learn about the different nationalities living in the district and their traditions and customs.
