Visitors to the museum can learn about the history of the Great Patriotic War and boost their fighting spirit. On May 8, 2000, in honor of the 55th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, the Republican Museum of Military Glory was opened. It is located in Victory Park in Ufa and tells the story of the Great Patriotic War from June 22, 1941 to the diorama "Reichstag Wall." The museum houses more than 14,500 items, including a collection of cold weapons, personal belongings of war participants, combat awards, trophies, frontline diaries and letters. Particular attention is drawn to the collection of photographs depicting life in Bashkortostan during the war years. The military-historical exposition around the perimeter of the building allows visitors to become acquainted with weapons, uniforms, documents, personal belongings of soldiers, trophies, the partisan movement and the evacuation of enterprises. Visitors can boost their fighting morale at the museum.
